&lt;p&gt;While sitting at the airport I was thinking about the fact that it is expanding to allow more consistency to flights in decrement weather and also bigger planes, but what kind of planes have landed at the airport in the past? With this in mind I asked Gloucestershire Airport and got the following responses…&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;and nice to see a Hercules parked up….&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;And this one passed right over my house (very low) with it’s landing gear down (but didn’t land)…&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;But then this one impressed me the most….&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The airport seems to have changed a bit, but wow nice Concorde… in geek speak, pretty beautiful!&lt;/p&gt;
